Polymer Clay

Polymer Clay is an art medium that is known for its versatility, pliability and simplicity to work with. It is an oven bake modeling material composed of polymers, resins, coloring agents and fillers. Polymer clay is man-made from a plastic, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) base.

Unlike traditional jewelry that is made of metal or stone, polymer clay earrings are light and comfortable. All pairs of earrings weigh less than a quarter, so you will not experience any discomfort or heaviness on your ears.

Although lightweight, polymer clay is extremely durable if baked properly. Finished pieces are flexible and can withstand some stress. However, it is not recommended to purposely bend your jewelry.

Jewelry

All jewelry is hypoallergenic (free of nickel & lead) and is plated gold or silver over brass. Plating is a process where a layer of gold or silver is placed on to coat the surface of another metal. As the jewelry is not 100% solid gold or silver, extra care should be taken to maximize its lifespan.

Because silver and gold plated elements are used, pieces may tarnish. Plated items are an affordable option, but are not made to last as long as solid gold. Follow care guidelines to ensure your jewelry stays looking amazing.

STORAGE: Once cured, polymer clay is slightly flexible, but can snap if intentionally bent. Avoid stacking polymer clay earrings when not in use. Store earring safely to avoid scratching and damage.

DAMAGE: Do not wet or submerge polymer clay earrings. Allow makeup, aerosol products, lotion or perfume to dry completely before applying the jewelry.

CLEANING: Should your polymer clay earrings need cleaning, wipe with a soft damp cloth or baby wipe. For a more thorough cleaning, gently apply a cotton swab that has been dipped in acetone. This method only applies to pieces that do not contain glitter, foil, or hand painting.

Each pair of earrings is carefully and uniquely hand-made and may show slight imperfections. No two pairs are ever "identical" which makes each pair unique! We ensure only the best of the batch go out to our customers.

Polymer Clay is extremely durable when baked properly. Each batch goes through a "bend test" once cooled, to ensure the best quality jewelry. Your piece will not break if bent or dropped. However, please avoid doing so.
